Retail Project Distribution
When you have a project to complete in hundreds of locations across Canada you need to make sure that your project materials, fixtures, displays/POS, tools etc. arrive on the planned start date. We specialize in managing distribution of these materials to the stores on plan so you can focus on managing the other parts of the project. We have warehouses located across Canada, which allows us to provide distribution from established drop points and warehouses. Our hub and spoke structure allows us to inventory materials closest to their required location

Case Studies
Fixture Roll Out
Overview:
A retail vendor was rolling out new racks to 350 Sobeys stores nationally. We were hired to ensure that the racks arrived at the stores Just in Time to coordinate with the install plan dates. Stores didn't have available space to store the rack so timing of deliveries was crucial. The racks were very large and specialized trailers were required in order to ship economically.

Service Provided:
TransGlobal Distribution coordinated the pick up of the racks from the manufacturer in Ontario and delivered them to warehouses located in hubs across Canada. Racks were picked and shipped according to the install plan for the duration of the project.

Results:
As a result of TransGlobal Distributions efforts all 350 racks arrived on time without damage. Furthermore significant cost savings were had by consolidating the fixtures and shipping them to warehouses for furtherance to their final locations.

Promo Item Roll Out
Overview:
A retailer was running a sport clothing and equipment promo in 500 of their stores nationwide. As part of the special they wanted to ship one basketball net and stand from a supplier in Vancouver. There were merchandising teams scheduled to set up the hoop and stands so it was imperative that the hoops and stands were delivered on schedule without damage.

TransGlobal Distribution architected a plan to use the retailers distribution centers as the hub for the beyond deliveries. We shipped the appropriate quantities to the hubs and then coordinated our various carriers to deliver to the local and beyond points in time for the promo.

Results:
As a result of TransGlobal Distributions efforts all 500 stores arrived on time without damage. Significant cost savings were had by consolidating the shipments at the retailers warehouses.
